MOSCOW, July 5 (RIA Novosti) - Inflation, excluding administrative, random and seasonal factors, stood at 0.3% in June and 6.2% since the beginning of the year, Russia's top statistics agency said Wednesday.
According to the State Statistic Service, the prices of goods grew 0.2% in June 2006. Food prices were unchanged, non-food product prices went up 0.3% and the prices of services provided to the public inched up 0.7% in the month.
The government is seeking to keep inflation at 9% this year, up from the initial 2006 figure of 8.5%. In 2005, the official inflation rate was 10.9%.
