MOSCOW, July 10 (RIA Novosti) - Five people, including three Russians, were killed when an An-12 transport plane crashed in the Democratic Republic of Congo on July 7, Russia's Foreign Ministry said Monday.
The accident occurred 40 kilometers (25 miles) from the city of Goma, killing crew captain Vladimir Belokrysenko, co-pilot Sergei Kasatkin, and flight engineer Andrei Petukhov, as well as two Congolese nationals.
The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the families of those who died.
