MOSCOW, July 13 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's foreign minister said Thursday Russia was drafting proposals on defusing the crisis in the Middle East for a Group of Eight summit this weekend in a bid to secure its partners' more proactive involvement in the process.
"As the chair-country, we are drafting proposals," Sergei Lavrov said.
He regretted that not all members of the club of the most developed nations were willing to address the Middle East crisis as energetically as they were working on Iran and North Korea.
