MOSCOW, August 1 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian government has raised export duties on crude oil to a record $216.4 per metric ton starting August 1, a govt. directive said.
The document said the same duty had been imposed on crude oil derivatives extracted from bituminous rock.
Last time Russia increased the export duty on oil and oil products on June 1, to $199.8 per metric ton (1 metric ton equals 7 barrels).
