ROSTOV-ON-DON/MOSCOW, August 14 (RIA Novosti) - Two men have been killed and three people wounded after unidentified assailants opened fire on a minibus in southern Russia, police said Monday.
A woman and two children were hospitalized after the incident, which occurred Sunday, police in the Volga-River city of Astrakhan said.
"Last night, unidentified assailants in a car opened fire on a minibus carrying five passengers, including two children," the police said.
Prosecutors in the city, however, put the number of passengers at six.
"Out of six passengers, two men were killed, a woman and two four- and five-year-old girls were injured," the prosecutors said, adding that witnesses had been questioned.
