MOSCOW, September 8 (RIA Novosti) - Probusinessbank has secured a $33 million syndicated loan to finance clients' commercial transactions, the Moscow-based mid-size private bank said Friday.
"Under preliminary terms, we took $20 million, which was then increased by 65% as a result of high market demand," said Mikhail Zavgorodny, a vice president of the bank.
The loan, arranged by Bankgesellschaft Berlin AG, Dresdner Bank AG and Ost-West Handelsbank AG, has been offered at LIBOR+3.25% for one year by 17 banks from 10 countries.
Founded in 1993, Probusinessbank specializes in lending to small and mid-size enterprises, and is among top 100 largest Russian banks. Its assets stood at 18.95 billion rubles ($710 million) as of July 1, with equity capital of 1.66 billion rubles ($62 million).
