MOSCOW, September 20 (RIA Novosti) -- Russia's state arms export company, Rosoboronexport, will present an array of cutting-edge security products at an upcoming international security exhibition in Essen, Germany, the company said Wednesday.
The show, Security Essen 2006, to be held October 9 through 13, will be the first international exhibition attended by Rosoboronexport.
"We intend to exhibit a broad range of products in various security niches," company spokesman Vyacheslav Ovchinnikov said. "These are sensors, surveillance cameras, night vision devices, various types of non-lethal weapons, and many other things."
He said border control and other high-tech security systems will be shown, including those used to protect nuclear power plants, adding that some models had no counterpart in the world.
