All Russian embassy officials to be evacuated from Tbilisi Sat.
Topic: Russia-Georgia spying row
As tensions have been mounting steadily between Russia and Georgia since five Russian servicemen were detained in Georgia Wednesday, with one later released and the remaining four charged by Georgian authorities with espionage and remanded in custody for two months, Russia has been evacuating its nationals from the country.
"The plane will depart in the second half of the day," Ivan Volynkin said. "So evacuation of Russian nationals from Georgia will be continued."
Two Russian planes with the families of Russian organizations' employees on board arrived at a Moscow region airport Friday, bringing a total of 79 people to Moscow.
Russia's Foreign Ministry also recalled the Russian ambassador to Georgia for consultations.
