MOSCOW, September 30 (RIA Novosti) - A four-year-old child was killed in an industrial accident at a construction site in northern Moscow, prosecutors said Saturday.
"The Koptevo inter-district prosecutor's office launched criminal proceedings on the second part of the Russian Criminal Code's article 216," a representative of the prosecutor's office said.
She said safety regulations were violated during work on the site, which resulted in the child being crushed by automatic gates.
The child was probably taken to the site in Lokomotivny Proyezd by his mother who works there.
