PARIS, November 26 (RIA Novosti) - The condition of Suleiman Kerimov, a member of Russia's parliament, who suffered in a car accident in France, is stable, the Russian general consulate in Marseilles said Sunday.

The accident with Kerimov occurred Saturday afternoon in Nice. The Russian MP lost control of the car and crashed into a tree, after which the vehicle went ablaze. The deputy received severe wounds and was taken by a helicopter to a regional burn center in Marseilles.

"At this moment, I can only confirm that Kerimov is at a Marseilles clinic and his condition is stable," an employee of the general consulate said.
