MOSCOW, December 1 (RIA Novosti) - Britain's civil aviation authorities have allowed a British Airways Boeing-767 passenger jet grounded at a Moscow airport to return to London for radioactive screening, BA said in a news release.

The plane is one of three BA planes grounded on suspicion of radioactive contamination in connection with an investigation into the fatal poisoning of a former Russian security officer, Alexander Litvinenko, who died November 23.

The plane will fly to London Friday without passengers.

Two BA planes have already been tested, with trace amounts of radiation being detected.

BA quoted British health officials as saying the risk that passengers on the planes were exposed to polonium-210, the radioactive substance found in Litvinenko's body, was very low.
