Five dead in road accident in southern Russia

ROSTOV-ON-DON, December 10 (RIA Novosti) - Five people, including a child, were killed after a car collided with a truck on a motorway in the Rostov Region in Russia's south, the regional emergencies center said Sunday.

The accident occurred at 07:00 a.m. Moscow time (04:00 a.m. GMT) on the M4-Don highway near the city of Bataisk, when a foreign-made car collided with Gazel, the emergencies center said.

An investigation is under way, the emergencies center said.
