MOSCOW, January 19 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's lower house of parliament, the State Duma, has passed a bill on moving the Constitutional Court from Moscow to St. Petersburg, which was revised by the parliament's mediation committee.

The previous text of the bill was rejected by the Federation Council, the upper house, December 27, a week after it was endorsed by the State Duma on a third reading.

The new version fixes the Court's right to visiting sessions whenever the need occurs.

The law was endorsed by 360 votes, with 300 needed for passage.
