YEKATERINBURG, February 2 (RIA Novosti) - The bodies of 15 girls aged 13-26 have been discovered in the Sverdlovsk Region in the Urals and an investigation is under way, local prosecutors said Friday.
Prosecutors said eight suspects aged 23-45 were detained and are facing charges of kidnapping, murder and rape.
All the suspects are members of a criminal gang involved in organizing intimate services, and most of them are related to one another.
According to investigators, psychiatric tests diagnosed all of the suspects as mentally stable during the period of 2002-2005, when the murders were committed.
