MOSCOW, February 14 (RIA Novosti) - Two of three crewmembers of the Challenger-850 plane that crashed at a Moscow airport February 13 are in coma, the acting transportation prosecutor of the Moscow Region said Wednesday.

Two Russians and a U.S. citizen were on board the plane, belonging to a foreign airline, which crashed Tuesday during takeoff at 4:30 p.m. Moscow time (1:30 p.m. GMT) at Vnukovo-3 airport in a snowstorm.

"Two crewmembers are in serious condition in a coma," Alexander Badenkov told RIA Novosti.

He said the U.S. citizen, who is of Indian origin, was in worse condition.

"We are checking all the possible versions, including pilot error in difficult weather conditions," Badenkov said.

He also said the aircraft's flight data recorders have not yet been removed from the Challenger-850, adding that it was unclear whether they will be deciphered in Russia or abroad.
