MOSCOW, February 22 (RIA Novosti) - Russian oil deliveries to China via the Trans-Siberian railroad are expected to rise about 46%, year-on-year, in 2007, to 15 million metric tons (109.9 million barrels), the head of rail monopoly Russian Railways (RZD) said Thursday.
"We are oriented to 15 million metric tons of oil in 2007," Vladimir Yakunin said, adding that state-controlled crude producer Rosneft will account for two-thirds of that amount.
Russian oil deliveries to China via the Trans-Siberian railroad increased 33.6%, year-on-year, in 2006, to 10.3 million metric tons (75.5 million barrels), Russian railroad officials earlier said.
