MOSCOW, March 10 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian crewmember of the International Space Station will be able to vote in the March 11 elections to the Moscow Region legislature, an official in the local administration said.
"Mikhail Tyurin has asked us to allow him to cast his vote, and he will be given such an opportunity for the first time in the history of local elections," the official said.
"The cosmonaut will report his choice of the candidate through a closed communication channel to an authorized person at the mission control center," the official said. "The person will fill in the ballot paper and put it into the ballot box."
