ROSTOV-ON-DON, March 18 (RIA Novosti) - Three persons have died and eight others have been injured after a bus capsized in a road accident in the Rostov Region in southern Russia, the regional administration's press office said Sunday.
The passenger bus on a ride from Volgodonsk to Rostov overturned Sunday near the village of Lagutkino, the press office said.
"According to the bus driver, a car drove too close to the bus and the driver tried to turn away and started to put on the brakes. The bus hit the roadside and overturned," the press office said.
There has been no information yet about the total number of passengers in the bus, the press office said.
Rescuers are working at the scene of the incident, the press office said.
