MOSCOW, March 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is not refusing to sign a peace treaty with Japan with post-WWII borders intact, but it sees no reasons to hurry, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told the lower house of Russia's parliament Wednesday.

"We continue to stick to the inviolability of WWII results," Lavrov said. "It is on these positions and under agreements [between the two countries' leaders] to develop Russian-Japanese relations in all areas, we will continue to hold negotiations to sign a peace treaty as soon as possible and ensure support from the two communities," the Russian official said.
