ST. PETERSBURG, May 15 (RIA Novosti) - A man has been killed in an early-morning fire at a student dormitory in St. Petersburg, an emergency official said Tuesday.
Some 50 people were evacuated from the Kuznetsov Naval Academy's dormitory after the building caught fire at about 3 a.m. Moscow time (11 p.m. GMT).
The fire, which had spread across an area of 60 square meters, was extinguished two hours later. Investigators say it remains unclear what caused the blaze.
