Suspect in murder of two students in south Russia arrested

PYATIGORSK, June 7 (RIA Novosti) - Police in the Stavropol Territory in southern Russia have arrested a suspect in the recent murder of two students which sent shock waves through the local community, a local prosecutor said Thursday.
A street fight that took place at the State Medical Academy in Stavropol on Sunday left two young Russians stabbed to death.
The source said the suspect, a young Russian builder, was arrested Wednesday, and another suspect is wanted by the police.
On Tuesday, several hundred people who believed the incident to be an inter-ethnic killing staged an unsanctioned protest.
