MOSCOW, June 28 (RIA Novosti) - Eight people died and one was injured in a head-on collision between a car and a truck in the Tula Region, to the south of Moscow, a local police source said Thursday.
"The Niva driver crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a Kamaz truck. He and the seven passengers died on site from their injuries," he said.
The truck driver is being treated in hospital, the source said.
