ATHENS, July 13 (RIA Novosti) - A Russian tourist died and another was seriously injured after his quad bike crashed into a car at a junction in Ayia Napa, southeast Cyprus, a spokesman for the Russian Embassy in Cyprus said Friday.
The accident happened late Thursday evening when a 25 year-old Russian who was driving the bike failed to give way at a junction colliding with a car on the main highway.
The quad bike driver is in hospital in a serious, but stable condition. His female passenger, 29, died of her injuries. An investigation is under way.
