MOSCOW, July 16 (RIA Novosti) - The deputy head of the German publishing house Bertelsmann in Russia was found stabbed to death at a country house west of Moscow Sunday.

"The body of 47-year-old Marina Pisareva with knife wounds was found at a cottage in the Odintsovo district," the Russian top prosecutor's office said on its Web site Monday. "Nothing had been stolen from the house according to preliminary inquiries."

Forensic experts said Marina Pisareva had died of a stab wound to her neck. Prosecutors said she had probably been killed with her own knife, which was found at the scene, the Prosecutor General's Office said.

Prosecutors are looking into several versions, including premeditated murder committed for commercial motives, the Web site said.
