MOSCOW, July 18 (RIA Novosti) - A tripwire bomb went off injuring at least seven people Wednesday during the funeral of murdered teacher and her two children in the North Caucasus republic of Ingushetia, local police said.
"Four police officers were wounded, and three civilians. One woman's leg was severely damaged," police told RIA Novosti. No fatalities have been reported.
The bomb went off at approximately 1.00 p.m. local time (9 a.m. GMT) when friends and family were already leaving the cemetery. According to preliminary data, the explosive device had power of 1 kg of TNT equivalent.
The 55 year-old Russian woman, along with her son and daughter, both university students, were shot by unknown gunmen at their home on Monday night. Policemen have put forward race-hate and robbery as possible motives.
