MOSCOW, August 24 (RIA Novosti) - Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos will visit Russia August 29-30 to discuss key bilateral and international issues with his Russian counterpart, a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman said Friday.
"The reform of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, presided over by Spain this year, will be one of the pivotal topics," said Boris Malakhov, deputy official spokesman.
He said Moratinos and Sergei Lavrov will also exchange opinions on cooperation between Russia and the European Union, the operation of the Russia-NATO Council and situation in the Middle East, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.
The diplomat said the officials would also discuss a wide range of bilateral political and economic issues.
"The talks between the foreign ministers of Spain and Russia will be another link in the dynamically developing political dialogue on the summit and high levels between Moscow and Madrid," Malakhov added.
