ROSTOV-ON-DON, October 14 (RIA Novosti) - Five people were killed in a head-on collision between two cars in the Rostov Region in southern Russia, the regional emergencies service said on Sunday.
The road accident occurred at about 10:30 a.m. Moscow time (06:30 a.m. GMT) on Sunday, when a Daewoo Nexia car collided with a Volga car. A 15-year-old boy from the Daewoo car was hospitalized with a serious head injury, the emergencies service said.
An investigation into the road accident is under way, the emergencies service said.
