Putin has a 1,500 square meter (16147 sq feet) plot of land, and has a 77.7 square meter (840 sq feet) apartment. He inherited both his cars from his father.
In addition, the Russian president, who will not run for a third term in the March 2008 presidential elections as it is prohibited by the Constitution, has 3.08 million rubles ($123,944) in a Russian savings bank account, and 560,000 rubles ($22,535) in an account with VTB bank.
