MOSCOW, December 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Audit Chamber has completed a check of the Central Bank's financial and economic activities and will consider the findings at the year's final board session, an auditor said on Thursday.
"The Audit Chamber has fulfilled the approved program," Valery Goreglyad said.
The check, ordered by the State Duma late in April, was launched in early summer.
The Audit Chamber also asked the National Banking Council to increase its authority in checking the bank's operations, but the Council has yet to consider the issue.
The Chamber also expects to complete a check of Russia's largest diamond producer Alrosa next year. Goreglyad said the company's taxes, customs payments and the use of state-owned assets would be inspected.
