NOVOSIBIRSK, February 23 (RIA Novosti) - Four people died in a fire at a night club in Omsk, West Siberia, on Saturday morning, a local emergencies spokesman said.
A fire following an explosion was reported in a two-story night club, Golden Cliff, at 8:22 a.m. local time [2:22 a.m. GMT]. The fire covered an area of 750 square meters on the upper floor of the club. By the time it was stamped out more than three hours later, it had killed two men and two women and destroyed almost the entire building.
A criminal case has been launched. The causes of the fire have yet to be established.
