NOVOSIBIRSK, March 7 (RIA Novosti) - A Russian man threw his two daughters, aged three and 11, from a ninth-storey balcony and then jumped himself after a row with his wife on Friday morning, prosecutors in southern Siberia said.
The 35-year-old man and his eleven-year-old daughter died in hospital. The three-year-old managed to survive and is being treated for spinal injuries.
The incident occurred in the town of Belokurikha in Russia's Altai Territory.
"A preliminary investigation indicates that the owner of the flat took both his daughters to the balcony and threw them out one after another. After that, he jumped himself," a spokesman for the local prosecutor's office said.
