Nadal defeats Davydenko to reach Monte Carlo final

MOSCOW, April 26 (RIA Novosti) - Spain's Rafael Nadal defeated Russia's Nikolai Davydenko 6-3 6-2 in the semi-final of the Monte Carlo Masters on Saturday, to reach his fourth consecutive final in the competition.

Davydenko, the world number three who was seeded fourth for the tournament, had been exhausted by his epic quarter final match on Friday against compatriot Igor Andreev.

Number two seed Nadal will meet either Roger Federer of Switzerland or Serbia's Novak Djokovic in the final.
