Young boy in hospital after Moscow hit-and-run incident

MOSCOW, May 1 (RIA Novosti) - A young boy was hospitalized after a hit-and-run incident in the south of Moscow on Thursday, a traffic police source said.
"The incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. in Bolotnikovskaya Street. A BMW knocked down a boy of around 10-12 years old who was running across the road. After this, the driver fled, heading in the Simferopolsky Avenue direction," the source said.
The boy was reported to be in a serious but stable condition.
The source also said that information on the car involved in the incident had been circulated among the city's law enforcement departments.
