Eight homeless burn to death in Russia's Far East

MOSCOW/KHABAROVSK, June 1 (RIA Novosti) - Eight homeless people died after a fire broke out in a wooden house in Khabarovsk in Russia's Far East, a local police source said on Sunday.
All the victims who died in the fire that erupted on Saturday are believed to have been unemployed and were apparently drunk when the tragedy occurred, the police source said.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
