MOSCOW, July 8 (RIA Novosti) - Three traffic officers have been shot dead in Russia's North Caucasus Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, a police source said on Tuesday.
The bodies of two traffic officers were found in a road late on Monday, while the body of a third patrol officer was found by the roadside.
"Two government-issued Kalashnikov assault rifles and two Makarov pistols together with ammunition have been taken," the source said.
Police are currently searching for three local residents suspected of killing the officers.
