MOSCOW, July 16 (RIA Novosti) - Seven women were injured when a hand grenade was thrown at a group of females in an apparent drive-by attack last night near Balashikha, east of Moscow, a local police source said on Wednesday.
The grenade was thrown by a passenger in an Opel car at the group of women, believed to be prostitutes, who were standing along the roadside. Seven of the women were injured, five were hospitalized.
A search is underway to try and trace the vehicle. A criminal investigation has been launched.
