YEKATERINBURG, October 16 (RIA Novosti) - A total of 6.7 kg (14.7 lbs) of heroin has been seized in the Sverdlovsk Region in Russia's Urals, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
A Tajik courier and a married local couple who received the drugs were detained in a joint special operation by the drug police and the Federal Security Service.
"The courier and the dealers were detained by a special police unit while unpacking the drugs in the sauna of the latter's house, in the village of Patrushin," the press service said.
A criminal case has been launched and the three suspects face up to 20 years in prison.
