The grenade was thrown during a row that broke out between two families who were battling each other in a court case over a fatal car accident.
"During the dispute, a member of the aggrieved family took his brother's Kalashnikov assault rifle and began firing shots in the air, and after security officers took his weapon, he threw an RGN hand grenade at them," the source said.
The man was arrested.
During the night in the neighboring Republic of Ingushetia, a group of gunmen opened fire on civilian in his car, in an attempt to steal the vehicle. The driver managed to flee, but was injured in the leg and later hospitalized.
A search for the attackers is underway.
