MOSCOW, November 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will visit Brazil, Venezuela and Cuba on November 24-27 after an APEC summit in Peru, the Kremlin website said on Sunday.
Medvedev will attend a summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Lima, the capital of Peru, on November 22-23.
He will then pay visit to Brazil on November 24-26, Venezuela on November 26-27 and Cuba on November 27.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez first announced Medvedev's "strategic" visit to Venezuela on October 10. Russian presidential spokeswoman Natalya Timakova said Medvedev could call in on some Latin American countries as part of his trip to Lima for the APEC summit.
An invitation to visit Cuba from President Raul Castro was handed to Medvedev by Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque, during his visit to Moscow last week.
