South African embassy official robbed in Moscow

MOSCOW, January 6 (RIA Novosti) - A South African embassy official has been robbed in Moscow's northeast, police said Tuesday.
"An unknown person stole a bag from the first secretary of the South African Embassy to Russia, which contained her passport, diplomatic card, 40,000 rubles [$1,300], a photo camera and two mobile phones," a police spokesman said.
He said the woman assessed the loss at 101,000 rubles ($3,300).
An investigation is underway.
