Death toll in S.Russian train blast rises to two

ROSTOV-ON-DON, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - One of the people injured when a gas canister exploded on Thursday on a train in southern Russia's Rostov Region has died in hospital, bringing the death toll in the blast to two, a local police source said.
The emergencies ministry and the North Caucasus Railway have not yet confirmed the information about the second victim.
Russian Railways (RZD) said five people were injured in the blast, while the North Caucasus Railway put the number of injured at six. RZD said no passengers were killed or injured in the explosion.
The blast occurred in the dining car of a train en route from Vladikavkaz in Russia's North Caucasus to Moscow at approximately 08:30 a.m. Moscow time (05:30 GMT). The explosion started a fire in the car, but it was soon extinguished.
