MOSCOW, July 1 (RIA Novosti) - A Russian woman has decided to name her newborn son after Michael Jackson, the Life.Ru news portal reported on Wednesday.
Jackson fan Yevgenia Shalenko, 29, gave birth to a boy on the day of the pop legend's death.
"My son's birthday is both the happiest and the saddest day of my life, as the first thing I learned after recovering from labor was that Jackson had died," Shalenko, from the west Siberian Novosibirsk Region, told Life.Ru.
The woman has already filed a request to register her son as Michael Shalenko-Jackson.
In addition, Russian producer Alexander Valov has said he has begun talks with potential sponsors, as well as Jackson's relatives, to put the king of pop's body on display in the Red Square tomb currently occupied by Vladimir Lenin, father of the Bolshevik Revolution.
"Michael himself wanted his body to be embalmed in his famous Moonwalk pose," Valov told the Novy Region news agency.
Michael Jackson, who spent more than four decades in the public spotlight, died at the age of 50 on June 26 of a heart attack just weeks before he was to launch a series of comeback concerts in London.
