Russian and Belarusian police have arrested all the members of the so-called "International" criminal group, a Russian Interior Ministry spokesman said on Friday.
The crime syndicate, which had operations in both countries, was named after the Bolshevik era international workers' movement.
"As a result of a large-scale operation in the Russian and Belarusian territory, all members of the International [criminal group] were detained red-handed and arrested," the spokesman said.
The detainees are suspected of committing contract murders and selling arms stolen from Belarusian military arms depots.
