Russia's Investigative Committee has launched a criminal investigation into the death of a WBC youth world boxing champion in North Ossetia, regional investigators said on Sunday.
Khetag Kozayev was killed by several gunshots at the Mirage nightclub in the capital of North Ossetia, Vladikavkaz, on Saturday.
The republican Interior Ministry earlier said the suspect in the murder had already been identified. However, there have been no reports yet about the suspect's detainment.
Kozayev's elder brother, Aslanbek, also holds the WBC youth world champion title.
