Over 2,000 law enforcers will provide security on Wednesday at the long-awaited rock concert of legendary U2 in the Russian capital, a  Moscow police spokesman said.

"Some 2,100 policemen and Interior Ministry troops will provide security at the Luzhniki Stadium. Officers of the canine team and their dogs will inspect the stadium several hours prior to the concert," police spokesman Viktor Biryukov said, adding that some 85,000 people are expected at the concert.

All spectators, he said, would have to pass through metal detectors at the entrance to the stadium.

Moscow policemen will also provide tight security measures at metro stations near the Luzhniki Stadium, Biryukov said.

On the whole, he added, such security measures are unprecedented for rock concerts in Moscow.

This is U2's first ever concert in Russia and the musicians arrived in the country three days prior to their performance, which according to organizers is unusual for the band.

On Tuesday, U2 leader Bono met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi. Besides music they discussed various social and charity activities that Bono and his musicians are involved in.

Bono actively works to fight HIV and AIDS around the world, organizing charity events with the other members of U2 and with other celebrities.

This sounds like it is going to be one incredible concert with 85,000 people!

Tight security will mean a very safe event for all attending. That President Dmitry Medvedev is personally involved is really pretty special. Few country leaders would do this. This shows why Dmitry Medvedev is such a great President for Russia!

Another great article on the topics of of conversation of Bono and Dmitry showed how each is trying to make the world a better place.

Dmitry Medvedev as anyone knows follows an extremely busy schedule helping to promote Russia abroad for business and commerce, at home solving problems and then in his spare time trying to make life better for ordinary Russian citizens.

It is a hectic challenging job that takes an entire staff to keep things moving smoothly.

That Dmitry had time to meet with U2 Bono sends a strong message of his interest in Bono's charitable activities. U2 Bono's interest in Russia is also keen in Canada and America.

For three years I have been trying to get Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and his staff to assist in the selection of 500 schools across Russia to participate in a huge “Go Russia!” art project to create 2,000 "Russian Kids Art Album eBooks" for the purpose of educating north American kids about modern Russia in a fun way.

Unfortunately I have not heard a word from the Russian government to assist either the Canadian or American government in this $100 million dollar project that will employee 1,025 people for 6 years and give all participating Russian public schools a new school playground in exchange for 100,000 of artwork on themes to promote a better understanding of modern Russia.

    Artwork Themes
    1) What do the Russian kids love about their community and city?
    2) What do the kids love about Russia?
    3) Draw it! Color it! Paint it!

This concept has been suggested as part of a "GO RUSSIA!" project to generate interest, tourism and business to Russia.

Despite numerous projects sent to Dmitry Medvedev and the Kremlin, not a word of acknowledgment has been received.

Perhaps this article is a sign that President Dmitry Medvedev is interested in promoting Russia abroad and getting many Russian children involved to help.

Arnold Vinette sponsors art projects all over Russia to help schools earn funds to build new playgrounds. He is currently courting the Canadian Government for $100 million to sponsor a series of 2,000 “Russian Kids Art Album eBooks” that will require 50 million pieces of Russian student artwork from 500 Russian public schools. (100,000 pieces from each school. 20,000 a year for 5 years) the project will employee 1,025 people for 6 years. Each participating school receives a new playground and support for their art programs valued at $100,000.

A request has also been made of Jim Carlson of the CMI (Clay Mathematics Institute) with regards to the rejected math prize for Grigory Perelman. Arnold Vinette would like to use the prize money of $1 million to sponsor a smaller “Russian Kids Art Album eBook” project at five Russian schools located in five different Russian cities. Once again each participating Russian school would receive $100,000 for a new school playground and support for school art programs in exchange for 100,000 pieces of artwork to be delivered over a five year period. (20,000 a year = 4 per student per month = 1 a week)

    Artwork Themes
    1) What do the Russian kids love about their community and city?
    2) What do the kids love about Russia?
    3) Draw it! Color it! Paint it!

Perhaps if U2 Bono has an interest in learning more about Russia and at the same time helping out the less fortunate Russian elementary schools (or those damaged or destroyed during this years wild fires) earn new modern playgrounds and support art programs, he might be interested in a similar “Russian Kids Art Album eBook Project”. They are a great way for Russian kids to show what they love about their community, city and country of Russia. In this way U2 Bono can learn all about Russia from the kids of Russia and in return honor their hard work with new school playgrounds and support for their art programs.

Once this artwork is scanned and put into a series of “Russian Kids Art Album eBooks” then U2 Bono can share with the world what he has learned about Russia from the Russian kids and include them on his newest CD's / DVD videos. Then the whole world can learn what a great place Russia is!!

Russian Kids Art Album eBooks = Go Russia! Projects = Supporting 2014 Sochi Olympic Games

I urge U2 Bono and his staff to contact me to get a “Russian Kids Art Album eBook Project” started. Everyone wins in these projects to promote Russia and help Russian schools.
