Russia will successfully complete talks on joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) in the next few weeks, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said on Friday.
"We will finish our part of work in the next few days or weeks," Shuvalov told the State Duma, the lower chamber of parliament.
Russia's main WTO negotiator Maxim Medvedkov was at the moment discussing two remaining insignificant issues, he said, adding he hoped the parties would find a compromise.
