Russia's foreign trade surplus increased by 30% year-on-year in January-October 2010 to $136.4 billion, the Federal Customs Service said on Tuesday.
"The foreign trade balance posted a surplus of $136.4 billion, which is $31.3 billion higher than in January-October 2009," the service said.
The surplus with non-CIS countries reached $117.2 billion, up $31.6 billion growth, while with CIS countries it slipped by $0.3 billion on the previous year to $19.2 billion, the service said.
