A Moscow city court sentenced four nationalists to up to 22 years in jail on Thursday for organizing a series of race-hate bombings in the Russian capital.

A Moscow city court sentenced four nationalists to up to 22 years in jail on Thursday for organizing a series of race-hate bombings in the Russian capital.

The four men, all under 23, were found guilty of organizing four blasts near kiosks belonging to people of non-Slavic origin. They were also found guilt of the attempted murder of 11 people.

Andrei Gordeyev and Vladislav Polyakov, both 19, were sentenced to 9 and 10 years in jail respectively, Konstantin Kucher, 19, was sentenced to 13 years, while Anton Vasiliyev, 23, was sentenced to 22 years behind bars.

The defense said it would appeal the verdict.
