At least four people died when an Antonov An-148 airplane belonging to the Voronezh Aircraft Plant crashed on a trial flight in the village of Garbuzovo in Belgorod region, a local emergency ministry representative said.
Six people were on board the plane at the time of the crash.
Last year, Russian state airline GTK Rossiya strongly criticized its An-148 aircraft, which are produced by the Voronezh plane maker and Ukraine's Kiev Aviation Plant AVIANT, for problems with door locks, and engine and APU failures.
