One person died and three were injured as six cars collided on the highway linking Russia's two largest cities, Moscow and St. Petersburg, police said.
"The accident occurred on Sunday evening at approximately the 555th kilometer of the highway near the Spasskaya Polist village," a police spokesman said.
An investigation is underway.
